A woman was taken into custody after allegedly biting an officer during a confrontation at Nashville International Airport.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the dispute started after a cab driver dropped the woman off at the airport.
Police were called to the third level of the terminal building where a woman was yelling at the cabbie. Then she reportedly started screaming at nearby passengers.
Officers quickly determined she was drunk and tried to take her into custody; however, she allegedly fought back - biting an officer on the arm, which drew blood.
The suspect was cuffed and taken to an area hospital, where she was tested for HIV.
She's been charged with aggravated assault.
