Arrest warrants have been issued for a man accused of giving police false information about a fatal shooting in Murfreesboro.
The charges stem from the March 18th killing of Donte Johnson, of Memphis, at the Vie Apartments.
Officials with Murfreesboro Police said Quantavious Dance lied to hinder the investigation and prevent a suspect from being arrested.
According to authorities, Dance may have returned to the west Tennessee area, including his hometown of Humboldt.
Persons of interest have been identified in the case, police said.
Anyone with information as to Dance’s whereabouts or the homicide itself was asked to call the CID at 615-893-2717 or Crimestoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867).
