Police Pursue Leads In NY Teen's Disappearance

Authorities from New York State have arrived in Franklin to pursue leads in a missing person’s case involving a teenager who hasn’t been seen since 2011. 

Officials with Franklin Police said 18-year-old Nieko Lisi, of Jasper, New York, arrived in Franklin on October 1, 2011.

He’d dropped off a friend in Romulus, Michigan before arriving on Flintlock Drive in Franklin.

Police said his phone stopped communicating with a Franklin cell tower at 4:08 p.m. on October 1.

Neither Nieko nor his 2004 GMC Canyon truck has been seen since. The truck had a New York license plate number of EGY 7316.

Officials with the New York State Police Violent Crime team have been in Franklin since Monday pursuing leads.

The Lisi family has offered a $2,500 reward. Franklin Police and Crime Stoppers have offered an additional reward of up to $1,000.
