Police confirmed they have captured a man with active warrants for robbery.
Authorities said they had been searching for Carlos Manuel Rivera Gonzalez. He was taken into custody Sunday without incident after a citizen reported seeing him.
According to reports, the robbery took place at 207 North Water Avenue, a pawn shop in Gallatin, around 5 p.m. Friday.
Police said Gonzalez was considered to be armed and extremely dangerous. He allegedly struck the victim in the face with his fist and took $1,000.
Gonzalez was also wanted for a robbery at a home on Thursday where officials said he knew the victim and stole $500. In that case, officials said Gonzalez hit the victim in the head and face with a BB gun.
No further information was released regarding his capture.
