A suspect was taken into custody after a woman was reportedly carjacked and sexually assaulted in north Nashville.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the victim told officers she was carjacked on Buchanan Street by a man who told her he had a gun in his pocket.
She said he threatened to kill her if she didn't comply with his demands.
At that point, police said he allegedly sexually assaulted her and then left the area.
Based on information provided by the alleged victim, police arrested Antoine Kirby.
Investigators said also had three other outstanding warrants, including domestic assault.
Kirby has been charged with aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping.
