Prosecutors in Roane County say a 15-year-old boy has shot and killed a soldier who was visiting his girlfriend between deployments.
The office of the 9th Judicial District said in a statement that the teen fatally shot 23-year-old MarStratton Gordon with a handgun on Sunday night in Harriman following a domestic altercation. Officials believe Gordon was between deployments and on leave visiting his girlfriend when the fight happened. Additional information about the shooting was not available.
Gordon was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
