Authorities in Clay County have confirmed recovery efforts have been underway for a man at Dale Hollow Lake.
Reports stated and man and his son were on the water swimming on Saturday.
Officials said the son was pulled out by a passerby in a boat, but witnesses saw the father go under the water.
The emergency call went out around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
On Sunday, those with the Clay County Emergency Management Agency said they’re using sonar and divers in the water near the Kentucky line and Trooper Island.
Crews have been coordinating their efforts with those from Overton and Cumberland counties, as well as Barren County, Kentucky.
Authorities said weather would not stop their efforts. They confirmed the search would continue throughout the day Sunday.
