Schools Evacuated As Precaution Due To Threats

Two Metro Nashville Public Schools were evacuated as a precaution after they received threats.

According to a release from Metro Schools, Goodlettsville Middle and Hunters Lane high School received phone and social media threats Monday morning.

Both schools were evacuated while police searched the buildings.

No threats were found and students were allowed back into the schools.

Anyone with questions about specific incidents or general safety procedures at their  schools, were encourage them to speak to their principals or call the Metro Schools Customer Service Center at 615-259-INFO-(4636).
