Several pets were killed in an overnight condo fire in Murfreesboro.
The incident was reported around 3:30 a.m. Thursday at a residence near Fortress Boulevard at Manson Pike.
Officials on the scene said there were three dogs and four cats inside the condo. However, three cats and possibly one dog perished in the fire.

No additional injuries were reported.
Authorities said one unit has severe damage, while two others have water and smoke damage.
The cause of the fire was not known.
The surviving animals were given oxygen at the scene.
