A man suspected of robbing a person in Nashville was caught after police saw photos he posted on social media.

According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the robbery happened on February 29 at the Meadow Wood Apartments on Rice Road.

Police said the victim met Louis Eduardo in the apartment’s parking lot to buy a handgun.

As they were agreeing on terms, Eduardo allegedly loaded the gun and demanded the victim’s belongings.

The person handed over his money in an envelope, at which point Eduardo got into a vehicle and fled.

Investigators said Eduardo was established as a suspect based on several photos he posted on Instagram.

They did not elaborate on what the pictures contained.

Two separate witnesses identified him in a photo lineup. He was charged with aggravated robbery.
