Summit Held To Discuss Traffic In Green Hills

Posted

It's no secret that traffic has been a growing problem throughout Middle Tennessee.

That was the focus of a summit held Saturday at Lipscomb University hosted by the "Alliance for Green Hills."

The president of the alliance, Ed Cole, said the event had two goals: first, to talk about the traffic issues they share to organize them, and second, to look at and share the solutions out there that people have been working on.

Speakers on Saturday included Metropolitan Transit Authority CEO Steve Bland, Metro Council members Russ Pulley and Angie Henderson, and Planning Department transportation planner Michael Briggs.
