A new development has been released in a scary road rage incident that may have been sparked by religion.

According to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, police have not made an arrest, but they have identified a suspect in the incident. Authorities had not released that suspect’s identity.

The victim, Sarah Alzu'bi, described the frightening situation saying a man tried to run her off the road while accusing her of being a terrorist.

Alzu’bi said she was traveling in Murfreesboro when a man in a truck pulled up on the right side of her vehicle.

The man began to spit at her car and swerve into her lane, nearly causing her to run off the road.

Alzu’bi added he was cursing at her, all while calling her a terrorist.

The victim was able to pull over, and the man made his way to her car window but thankfully other drivers noticed what was happening.

After a brief standoff between the two, the truck sped off, but not before Alzu'bi captured a picture of the back of the vehicle.

That was how officers were able to identify a suspect, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
