Police have been looking for a driver who side-swiped a car on the interstate and then fired shots.

The victim was driving down Interstate 40 around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when a man in a red pickup truck side-swiped them.

The truck never stopped, so they followed it to get a license plate number.

Authorities said the truck got off the freeway at Charlotte Avenue and went into gravel parking lot.

Police said that's when the man got out of the truck and fired several rounds.

It was unclear if he fired in the air or in the direction of the victim.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with information has been asked to call police.
