Police confirmed they’re searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed near a local Waffle House.
The incident happened in the 200 block of West Trinity Lane after midnight, early Saturday morning.
Reports stated a man was walking on Trinity Lane near the Waffle House when he got into an argument with someone passing by.
That passerby allegedly stopped and stabbed the man in his upper body. The victim was taken to Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as an older black male who was driving a white Honda.
Authorities said the suspect left the scene and headed east on Trinity Lane toward the interstate.
