Police said they need the public’s help with finding a woman they said pulled a fast one on a pawn shop owner.
Authorities said the woman looked at a diamond ring, and when the clerk looked away, she swapped the valuable ring with a piece of costume jewelry.
The incident happened at the Kwik Kash and Pawn on North Water Avenue in Gallatin around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The female suspect fled in a dark-colored Chevy Cavalier driven by an unknown person.
