Two people have been arrested after throwing more than 100 credit cards out of a car window.

Officers with the Mt. Juliet Police Department said they noticed a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Police stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation.

That’s when authorities said the suspects inside threw bundles of credit cards out the window.

Officials said nearly 250 credit cards, from approximately 7 different banking institutions, were thrown out and located on the side of the road.

Officers also located three fraudulent identification cards.

Yohann Madruga Dencas, 35, of Miami and Josue Tato Borges, 21, of Miami were arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.

Dencas was charged with Criminal Simulation and Criminal Impersonation, and Borges was charged with Criminal Simulation.
