A teenager on a bicycle robbed a drive-thru employee at a Madison area fast food restaurant overnight.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday at a McDonald’s on Gallatin Pike.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the teen rode the bike up to the drive-thru window and demanded money from the employee.
He reportedly threatened to shoot the employee, although it’s unclear if he was armed.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money. His direction of travel was unknown.
Police said he was described as being either 16 or 17-years-old and was wearing a red shirt with something covering his face.
Detectives said they’re working on getting surveillance video from inside the restaurant.
