An investigation continued after testing of a white, powdery substance came back inconclusive.

Authorities, along with a HAZMAT team, responded to One Nashville Place after an unknown substance was found Monday afternoon.

Police and fire crews taped off an area at the corner of 4th Avenue and Commerce Street.

Brian Haas with the Nashville Fire Department said crews responded to a "white powder incident."

Haas confirmed Tuesday that the test results came back inconclusive.

The investigation has been turned over to Metro Nashville Police, as additional testing is required.
