Food and wine, who wouldn't want to spend the day celebrating that?
Thousands of people checked out the 3rd Annual Nashville Wine and Food festival Saturday at Bicentennial Park.
Event coordinator Jennifer Carr said it’s about showing people what Nashville has to offer.
“So as Nashville grows as a huge destination city, especially for food and beverage, what we're really trying to do is highlight that and let everyone know that Nashville is its city, and it is based on our food culture which are all represented here with all the great restaurants we have all over town,” Carr said.
Money raised at the event benefitted the Nashville Symphony.
