The "Thunder on the Cumberland" boat races roared through downtown Nashville.
On Sunday, this was the first event of its type on the Cumberland Riverfront, with some boats reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour.
Of course, lots of dads were out there with their kids watching the races this Father's Day, but one family in particular made this weekend one to remember.
Braxton and Dylan Anderson were in the pit crew for their dad, Ray Anderson of Formula One Yamaha. They said he turned 60 Friday, and all he wanted to do for his birthday was race his boat.
The final races wrapped up Sunday evening with awards given out at 6 p.m.
