A reality star accused of raping a family member appeared inside a Cheatham County courtroom.

Toby Willis, the patriarch of the musical family the Willis Clan, was scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities confirmed he went in front of the judge around 10:30 a.m.

While in court, his preliminary hearing was moved to Wednesday, October 5. His lawyer also requested a certain judge. No bond was set.

Back in early September, he was charged with child rape.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began the investigation on August 29 after agents learned Willis allegedly had a sexual encounter about 12-years-ago with an underage female.

Authorities confirmed Willis was told he was not allowed to go around his biological children or his wife.

The investigation remained active and ongoing.
