Folks have already been gearing up for Christmas in Music City.
Friday, the Country Music Hall of Fame kicked off its "Deck the Hall" Christmas celebration with the annual tree lighting ceremony.
Country Music star Tanya Tucker helped get the month-long celebration started with a performance and annual lighting of the 30-foot Christmas tree inside the museum.
The "Deck The Hall" schedule has been filled with several family fun activities and live concert performances.
“We also have cookie decorating, country music-style, all month long on certain days of the week, and then we have Santa here for free every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas,” said Sharon Brawner, of Sales and Marketing with the Country Music Hall of Fame.
For the most part, the activities are free, but Hall Of Fame goers will have to buy a ticket for the live shows. For a look at that schedule and more information, click here.
