Plenty of opportunities to get in the holiday spirit have been planned this week.
Monday night, the State will be lighting its tree outside the Capitol.
The ceremony, hosted by Governor Haslam, has been slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.
The City of Nashville has planned to light its Christmas tree at 6 p.m. Friday at Public Square downtown.
Organizers said there would be food, hot beverages, live music, and fun for the entire family.
The celebration has been set to continue Saturday morning as the 62nd annual "Nashville Christmas Parade" marches down Broadway.
