A week-long celebration has been ongoing in Music City honoring a late music legend who was not a country star.
PacFest started off with a bang Friday night at Mercy Lounge on Tupac Shakur's 46th birthday.
Throughout the week, the National Museum of African American Music has been scheduled to hold discussions on art and culture, and the Black International Film Festival will provide a drive-in movie as part of the festivities.
