A man listed as a person-of-interest in his ex-wife’s disappearance in Tennessee has been convicted of trying to kill another woman.

Tyler Mook was convicted of attempted murder on Thursday in Florida.

Investigators said the 35-year-old tried to drown his ex-girlfriend during a fight on a boat back in 2014.

He was scheduled to be sentenced in May.

Mook' ex-wife, Shelley, disappeared back in February 2011 after dropping off the couple's daughter at his Shelbyville home.

Her burned car was later found in Murfreesboro.

Mook has maintained that he had nothing to do with Shelley's disappearance.
