Police have asked for the public’s help in locating two men sought in an armed robbery in Columbia.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday at Silver Screen Videos on South James Campbell Boulevard.
Columbia Police said two men walked into the store and demanded money.
One was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. He was wearing gloves, a mask, cut-off khaki pants, a dark hoodie, and black shoes.
At one point, the other robber walked behind the counter and punched the male employee in the face, knocking him to the floor. A female employee gave the men an undisclosed amount of money.
They fled the parking lot on Wedgewood Drive. Police said they were believed to have been driven to and from the scene in a dark-colored, full-size truck, extended cab with a silver toolbox.
