A woman has been accused of attacking a man in Nashville by allegedly hitting him with a broomstick and stabbing him in the chest.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the incident happened at a home on Lena Street near 28th Avenue.
Constance Davis has been accused of showing up at the location and getting into an argument with the victim. She was allegedly drunk at the time.
Police said Davis began yelling at the victim, at which point he went into a bathroom. When he came out, she allegedly hit him in the head with a broomstick.
The argument continued from there and at some point, the victim was stabbed in the chest with an ink pen.
He called police the next day, saying he was afraid of a future incident.
Davis was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
