A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed during a domestic incident in Clarksville.
Authorities said the man arrived at the emergency room at Tennova around 5:55 p.m. Wednesday with a stab wound.
According to reports, the victim was not cooperating with officials and would not reveal information.
At least two 911 calls had been made about a possible domestic disturbance with injuries requiring an ambulance in the 700 block of Gracey Avenue.
According to one caller, the incident involved 19-year-old Brittany Mostella.
Officers said they went to the home twice. The first time, they were unable to make contact with anyone at the home.
Police said the second time, a resident said there was a fight at that location, but she added she did not need police or an ambulance.
After an investigation into the 911 calls, authorities discovered Mostella had allegedly stabbed the victim who was then taken by private vehicle to the hospital.
Officials confirmed the victim was later transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but he’s expected to be okay.
Mostella has been arrested. No further details were available.
