A woman in Clarksville has been injured in a shooting that police said was not random.
The incident happened at 3:53 p.m. Sunday in the area of Farris Drive and Kellogg Street.
Police said a fight took place between the adult female victim and a male suspect. According to reports, the man shot the woman.
She was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said they were following strong leads, but the investigation remained ongoing.
