A woman out walking her dog found herself dodging bullets overnight.
The shooting happened in the 900 block of 1st Avenue South.
The victim, identified as Jonnella Hambrick, was walking her dog and passed a woman she knew, identified as Carmilla Renee Ellison.
The two allegedly argued about a different incident reportedly involving a prior assault.
As the victim then continued on with her dog, she heard at least two shots and turned to see Ellison pointing a black handgun in her direction.
Neither the woman or her dog were hit. Reports stated Ellison then walked away from Hambrick.
At that point, police were called to the scene, and Ellison was taken into custody not far from where the shooting happened.
Ellison was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
