A woman was injured overnight in a shooting just south of downtown Nashville.
The incident happened shortly before 2 a.m. Friday on Charles E. Davis Boulevard.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the victim was shot in the leg by a man who left the area before officers arrived.
Detectives hope to get more information about the shooting from the victim at the hospital.
No suspect description was immediately known. So far, no arrests have been made.
