A workshop has been planned this week at the Tennessee State Library and Archives to help people learn more about ancestors who fought during World War I.
The library's director of public services, Gordon Belt, will lead the workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Belt will use a case study from his own family history to retrace the tracks of Tennesseans to the war.
The workshop will be held in the library's auditorium at 403 Seventh Avenue North, west of the Tennessee Capitol in downtown Nashville.
Reservations are required, but the event is free and open to the public. To register, click here.
