Local Rapper Charged In Nashville Copper Theft

A local Nashville rapper was arrested and accused of stripping copper from a construction site.

Melvin Gurley, also known as MZG, and at least two others allegedly went to a construction site on Moore Avenue and took the copper.

They were also caught on video. Officers said they found heroin and needles in Gurley's car.

He was charged with Criminal Trespass for not having permission to be on the construction site property.
