Louisiana murder suspect caught outside Mt. Juliet hotel

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Louisiana murder suspect was caught outside a hotel in Mt. Juliet on Tuesday.

Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers said they were contacted by East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana that a Deandre Lamond Galmon, who is accused of murder, was believed to be saying at hotel in Mt Juliet.

Troopers alongside Mt. Juliet police officers went to the hotel on Tuesday morning and learned a vehicle matching the description of one Galmon was believed to be driving was seen at another hotel a few blocks away.

When the arrived at the second hotel, Galmon unknowingly walked out of the front entrance of the hotel. THP said when he saw law enforcement, he immediately surrendered.

Galmon was then arrested and is being held at the Wilson County Sheriff's Office.
