NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Davidson County Man was arrested after he allegedly downloaded sexually explicit images of children onto his mobile device.

Officials with Metro Police said 36-year-old Randall Grosvenor has been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. He is a registered sex offender.

Grosvenor was accused of uploading several explicit images of minor girls back in May; however, Metro Police only found out what happened recently with the help of Google.

Police said they recently received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Google sent a report to the organization after learning that 10 sexual images of girls around 6-years-old were uploaded to an email address belonging to Grosvenor. Google also found the suspect’s phone number.

To help with the investigation, police asked for his internet provider's help to find out the subscriber of the IP address linked to the email.

An officer served Grosvenor a search warrant at his Antioch home this week. Police said Grosvenor admitted to finding the pictures online and downloading them to his tablet.

In an interview with police he admitted to being sexually attracted to children, according to an affidavit.

He was booked into jail Wednesday and is being held on an $80,000 bond Thursday morning.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's website, Grosvenor has been on the sex offender registry list since 2002 when he was charged with aggravated sexual battery.
