A man was placed behind bars after an hours-long standoff.
Investigators said Brian T. Williams refused to come out of a home at the Cheatham Place apartments on Rosa Parks Boulevard earlier Friday after allegedly attacking his girlfriend.
After three and a half hours, SWAT officials were finally able to arrest him for felony assault.
Authorities said he had been free on bond for first degree murder. Further details were not available.
