Man Arrested, Charged In School Bomb Threats In Hickman County

CENTERVILLE, Tenn. – A man has been arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after two bomb threats at schools in Hickman County.

Authorities said the threats happened Tuesday at the Hickman County Elementary and Intermediate schools.

Officials took 26-year-old Blaine A. Neltner, Jr. into custody Wednesday and charged him with two violations of commission of an act of terrorism and two violations of false reports.

Those with the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office, as well as Centerville Police and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, aided in the investigation and arrest.

According to authorities, the incident was believed to be an isolated event.

Neltner was being held on a $1,052,000 bond at the Hickman County Correctional Facility. He was also served a fifth warrant on unrelated charges of theft under $500.
