Police arrested the man believed to be responsible for shooting and killing a 24-year-old at Club Premium in Nashville.
Accused murderer and convicted felon Deandre Sherrill, 26, was arrested Tuesday at a Madison apartment complex by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and the MNPD Gang Unit.
Sherrill was charged with the fatal shooting of Dequinta Young in the parking lot of Club Premium on the 800 block of Murfreesboro Pike.
Detectives were told the gunfire occurred during a dispute between the two men over a vehicle blocking another.
Sherrill was convicted of felony aggravated assault in September 2017 for shooting a woman on Westchester Drive. He received a mostly probated sentence.
Sherrill is also charged with violating the terms of his probation.
