Officers have arrested a suspect wanted for the robbery and murder of a man in early February.
Juan Carlos Carachure of Nashville was arrested Tuesday morning around 5:30.
Officers with the Murfreesboro Police Department and Metro Nashville Police Department arrested him when executing a search warrant at his home.
He’s been charged with Aggravated Robbery and First Degree Murder. Police said Carachure was responsible for killing Tijuandre Garrett on Feb. 7 on Eagle Street.
Garrett was transported to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
Carachure was being held without bond at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
MNPD SWAT also executed a search warrant on the residence of Justin Woodard relative to the shooting. Justin Woodard, of Nashville, was arrested and charged with Criminal Conspiracy.
