Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Hartsville man for hiring someone to hurt his neighbor.
Investigators said 69-year-old Kent Smith tried to hire someone to commit serious bodily harm to his neighbor multiple times.
Smith was charged with solicitation to commit aggravated assault.
At the time of his arrest, Smith was out on bond from an aggravated assault charge involving the same victim.
