A man was charged with insurance fraud after allegedly vandalizing his own car and setting his garage on fire.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 29-year-old Kevin Wayne Fuller vandalized reported to police on Sept. 24, that his vehicle had been vandalized.
The next day, a neighbor reported that Fuller's garage was on fire, and that it had spread to his home.
Officials took a report in each incident, but later discovered that Fuller had done each intentionally.
joint investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tennessee Fire Investigative Services and the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department has resulted in the arrest of a Sharon man on charges of arson and insurance fraud.
Fuller was charged on Oct. 12 and warrants were obtained for aggravated arson, insurance fraud, vandalism and filing a false report. Fuller was arrested and booked the next day into the Weakley County Jail.
