A man was critically injured in a shooting late Tuesday night in Antioch.
The shooting happened at about 10:30pm Tuesday at Rural Hill road near Mount View Road.
Metro Nashville Police Officers said the man was found with at least one gunshot wound to his back. They said the victim was coherent and speaking with them, but his injuries were considered serious.
The victim was able to tell police there were two men involved in the shooting, but he wasn't able to describe the men in detail.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he needed to have surgery.
