A Goodlettsville man died after falling overboard during a 4th of July celebration.
Officials with the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency said 59-year-old Charles Dewayne Cole drowned after watching Clarksville's fireworks show in Clarksville Sunday night.
The TWRA said he was trying to pull up his anchor when he fell overboard, and was not wearing a life jacket.
Clarksville Police, Clarksville Fire, Montgomery County Fire and EMS, and TWRA officers searched the area and recovered his body around 6 a.m. Monday.
His family who live in Park City, Kentucky have been notified.
