Tennessee Highway Patrol officials have released the name of the driver killed in a head-on crash in Humphreys County crash.
Dustin Andrew Edwards, 23, was killed on Highway 70 near Hurricane Creek Road Friday, Aug. 12, when another driver crossed the yellow line and hit the front of his car.
According to THP Edwards was driving east bound with 22-year-old Briana Burkins and 22-year-old Adam Dalme.
Police said Nicholas Gordon was driving west bound on 70 when he crossed into the east bound lane and hit the front end of Edwards' vehicle.
Edwards died in the crash. Gordon, Burkins, and Dalme were all injured but expected to be ok.
Officials reported that drugs or alcohol were not involved. However, criminal charges were pending in the case.
Edwards, Dalme and Gordon were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
