A man was recovering after being involved in a wreck and shooting in South Nashville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called out to the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Spence Lane just before 2 a.m. Sunday.
When they got to the scene, they found the victim had been shot in the leg, and he had been in a wreck at the same intersection.
Investigators have been trying to determine whether the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
The man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has been expected to survive.
