A man was killed in Simpson County, Kentucky when his vehicle became submerged in floodwater.

The man was found around 2:20 p.m. Saturday in Drakes Creek near the low water crossing on Kenny Perry Drive.

The victim was identified on Sunday as 69-year-old Kenneth Boren, of Franklin.
