A man has been accused of shooting an 11-year-old in the face with a pellet gun.
According to officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department, the crime happened Wednesday at a home on Dorris Avenue in Green Hills.
Reports stated 63-year-old Thomas Ouellete reporteshot the child while the 11-year-old was playing in a tree house on a neighboring property.
The child needed surgery to remove the pellet from his chin. Ouellete has been charged with aggravated assault.
