NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man in a bucket truck was critically injured after he was shocked while working several feet in the air.
The incident happened Thursday morning on Davidson Street and South 5th Street.
Nashville Fire Department officials said the man was 20 feet in the air at the time. When crews arrived, he was unresponsive and still in the bucket of the boom lift.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is in critical condition.
Nashville Electric Service officials confirmed he's not an NES employee.
