Man Shot 3 Times At Madison Home

Posted

A man was injured in an early morning shooting outside a Davidson County home.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. at a residence on Cumberland Station Boulevard in Madison.

Officials with Metro police said a white 20-year-old male was shot three times – once in the back, shoulder and ankle.

Police said he had just walked up to the home and was shot at the front door. When officers arrived on the scene, he was found lying in the bathroom.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  He was reportedly not cooperating with detectives.

No suspects have been identified in the case.

This was the second incident in the past two weeks at the home. On December 19, officers were called to a shooting at the residence after an intruder reportedly kicked down the front door.

That person was shot in the stomach by someone inside with a shotgun.

Officers were investigating if the two shootings were related.
