NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police say they are looking for three suspects who shot a man at a Nashville apartment while two children were nearby.
The shooting happened after midnight Wednesday at the Overton Brentwood Apartments on Edmondson Pike, just blocks away from Nolensville Pike.
According to police, three suspects kicked in a door and shot the victim, a man in his 30s, multiple times in the doorway. Two children, a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old were inside the apartment but were not harmed.
A Spanish speaking officer met the victim at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to get more information. As of now, police haven’t said if he was targeted and haven’t yet released a description of the suspects.
